Carter had his very first birthday last Saturday! I can’t believe he is already one year old. It’s amazing how fast time flies, and how much they grow! He is almost, just about there, walking. He is getting his first tooffie in, which is actually a good thing that it’s coming in late because they will be stronger and healthier.
So back to this party...
My sister went all out for his birthday. Complete with caramel apples, cupcakes, balloons, carter’s own cake, cookies, carter’s very own banner and a pumpkin outside greeting the guests with a “1” cut out of it. DANG cute if you ask me! It was good to see the family get together and wish this little one a happy birthday. He may not remember the party, but we all sure will.
Leslie came over the night before and we make some cupcakes...from scratch.
OKkk all of those who know me well, know that I truly SUCK at cooking. Well, we attempted to make pumpkin spice cupcakes from scratch. I’m all about opening a box, throwing in some extras and then tossing it in the oven.

For these we make from flower, baking soda, spice, the whole shabang. The most exciting part was decorating them oh and watching Hocus Pocus was an added extra and a MUST at this time of year.
I absolutely LOVE this time of year! decorations, tons of food, an family. Soon enough Christmas will be here!
