SUPPRISE, HOME!

Well this past weekend was such a blast. At first I thought that Morgan was coming to Rexburg and I was trying not to say anything because I didn't want to be disappointed if he didn't show up. But instead on Wednesday night he sent me and email and made me skype him while opening it up. It was a flight itinerary but I had no idea what it was for. He told me to look at the name on it, Nicole Ewen.
At first I was VERY lost, but then I realized that he was not flying to Rexburg, he was flying me home! It was our one year anniversary on Friday and it was also my mom's birthday, the special one. So I flew in late on Friday night to LAX right after Morgan flew in from Minnesota and we drove up to the valley along with everyone else on the 4o5. Ended up that I didn't get to my house until 11:30 and Mom was already in bed. I snuck in next to her and woke her up and she almost fell out of bed. She was so confused and happy at the same time. It didn't really hit her until the morning when she was awake.
Morgan and I stayed up late exchanging gifts, he got me an ipod and I gave him a picture of the Tetons that our friend Kate took. I think he won in the gifting this anniversary!
Saturday we went to my sisters baby shower in Santa Maria for an hour with my sister and Mom and my sister's mother in-law. Morgan and I left early and decided to take my dog Skyler to the beach for the rest of the day. She was so afraid of the water it was funny. Morgan kept running with her into the waves but she out smarted him several times. ha! Then Morgan came home with a ton of tar on his feet from the beach. Here are some pics...
That night we all went out to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants Dos Carlitos and had a great dinner all together.
Sunday we went to sacrament then left for LA, but stopping at Morgan's Aunts house in Camarillo to say hi to the family. They were so shocked to see us there it was awesome.
By the time we got to LAX I was hungry again so we went to In-and-Out Burger :)

It was one of the best weekends ever. I have such an amazing family and boyfriend. I could not ask for anything more. Sometimes I try to think how my life could be better and I can't think of a single thing to change...except maybe a diploma. I truly am so blessed with such a great life.
I did NOT want to come back to school after a weekend like that, but I'm going to suck it up for 2 1/2 more months and then I'm DONE. Can't wait for that day!!!
Kate, I think we both will be jumping for joy with our diplomas soon!!

It's supposto rain tomorrow and maybe snow. This is when depression sets in. Hope time runs by fast. At least I have the baby and Halloween to look forward to!
I might be home sooner then I think. My sister is about ready to pop!! The little one should be on his way pretty fast. She is due on October 15, but my guess is the 8th which is one week earlier, but I guess we'll see. I'm just making sure my laundry is done and I can just run to airport and go to the hospital. So exciting!!
